Following a successful collection at Stour Provost the Gillingham Food Bank has asked us to collect in Stour Row. They have unprecedented demand at the moment for existing and new claimants. Please could you purchase or order a few extra items this week in order to support this worthy local initiative.

The Village Hall will be open from 10am to 3pm to receive donations. It will be occasionally manned, and we will be undertaking all the correct social distancing measures etc  including an ‘in’ door and exit to the rear.

They have requested the following items:

Cereal (small packets). Fruit juice (UHT not fresh). Savoury snacks. Tinned vegetables (small tins not Sweetcorn).  Pasta (any 500g). Rice (any 500g). Sauces and jams. Custard.  Sponge puddings.   Sweet treats and chocolate.  Please: no bread, home made jams or fresh items.
