We are trying to extend the list of products that can be conveniently recycled by Stour Row residents. A recycling point has been set up outside the Village Hall (on the right hand side) for collection of the following items not currently accepted by the Council door-to-door refuse collection.

  1. Toothbrushes and packaging, toothpaste tubes, dental floss boxes, electric toothbrush heads – see details below for what can be taken.
  2. Flexible packaging from dish washer tablets and cleaning products – see details below for what can be taken.
  3. Printer ink cartridges and copy toners (all brands)
  4. Soft contact lenses, contact lens blister packs
  5. Batteries (all sorts except “button” batteries)
  6. Crisp packets (any brand) – but not popcorn bags, pretzel bags or meat snack bags

We hope that the list of items we can recycle will be extended in due course

Happy recycling!
