The 2019 Stour Row annual village quiz night on Saturday 9th November was a great success and a lot of fun for all involved. About 40 contestants from the village and beyond entered to make it a closely fought evening. A supper of chilli (meat and vegetarian options) and salad, with puddings contributed by attendees and washed down with beverages from the bar, helped to reinvigorate flagging intellectual effort at half time. Whilst a raffle added excitement and helped to boost the coffers

At the end of the evening the winning team was “6 go mad in Dorset” led by Sarah and Julian Panton. As well as the thrill of coming out on top, the winning team have the ‘honour’ of organizing next year’s event – something for us all to look forward to!

The event raised nearly £450 for the Village Hall funds – a superb result!

Many thanks to all those people involved in the organisation of the event and everybody that participated.
