We are planning to hold a ‘Bring and Share Tea Party’ to celebrate Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee on Sunday 5th June from 3pm in the village hall and the hall garden. Please make a note of the date in your calendar.

This will be a free event open to all village residents and any house guests you have at the time. We hope as many of you as possible will be able to come along and join the celebration.

The plan will be for each household to bring a sweet or savoury contribution to the tea party which we would share; those with particular dietary needs would be welcome to bring something specific for themselves. We aim to arrange some children’s games and activities. The village hall will provide tea/coffee/soft-drinks and something suitable for a toast to Her Majesty. We will also keep the hall open into the evening for those who wish to enjoy a glass or two of wine or beer after the tea party.

Closer to the event we will be asking you to let us know if you are able to attend and also what food you would like to bring, so that we can plan for numbers.
