Friday 24th September 2021 saw the return of the popular Stour Row pop-up pub The Stroll Inn after a long break due to the pandemic.

It was lovely to see so many villagers together again on a mild September evening in the Village Hall and garden.  The beer, cider, wine, and conversations were all flowing  freely.   A barrel of draught ale proved a popular addition to the usual range of drinks on offer and the ‘covid screen’ at the bar was cunningly constructed to allow drinks to be safely passed through to customers.

It was really lovely to meet again with friends and neighbours over a glass or two, to catch up on news and ‘put the world to rights’. It felt like a significant step back to normality.

Many thanks once again to Tim and Stephanie Ledger for making it all happen and to the other members of the informal organising committee for their support.

The next pop-up pub is provisionally planned for Friday 25th November – please make a note of it in your diary. More details to follow in due course.
